Study on materials application of Beijing Daxing International Airport
Project task & overview
Every architect uses different materials to express or construct their building/structure. We are to select a building by any famous architect and study on both its structural materials as well as its architectural materials, in which are both in relation to the design concept of the building itself. Their characters, properties, the influence, and installation on the building design to fit the concept will be the main study.

Reflection
In this project, I've learnt how materials are specifically chosen to achieve the different design intentions, in terms of user comfortability as well as the stability of the structure. This allowed me to understand different architectural and structural materials and the relation in which how they work together to give the end result as a whole well-known building.
